How get the source of release build?

(1/1)

iPodFoo:
Hi. Im using Debian in VMWare, and I'd like to use the official February 3, 2010 3.5 stable release source as I'd like to test the multifont patch with it. But I cant see where in the wiki it states how.

Im currently using:

--- Code: ---$ svn co svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk rockbox
--- End code ---

Which downloads the latest build which I dont want. If someone could let me know what command needs adding I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

bluebrother:
Just get the correct tag -- for 3.5 this would be svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/tags/v3_5

iPodFoo:
Cool, thanks that worked.

Tags is a new one to me. The only reference I could find is here but it was talking about the Utility which might have thrown me off!

Thanks again.

Releases are special builds we provide directly.  Usually we expect people who compile their own to grab the latest source, rather than an older build, so the documentation points you towards the current source code, not archived versions.
