Rockbox Ports are now being developed for various digital audio players!
Stable portsRockbox runs well on these players, has a complete manual and is supported by the installer: ...SanDisk: Sansa c200 series (not v2), e200 series (all models), and Fuze v1 (not v2)
So I downloaded the Rockbox Utility (rbutilqt-v1.2.2-linux_x86_64bit.tar.bz2), unpacked, and ran it as root with my player connected.
I got an error message saying the installer couldn't find the network and therefore couldn't determine the version.
How can i tell the diference on models just by the box or do I have to to settings to see the , model? is it safe to buy any fuse and rockbox will work on it?

The only way to be sure is to open it and check the firmware version.
So V1 or V2 is about the firmware and not the hardware it self? Can you downgrade the firmware?
