Iaudio X5 - Is there an easy one button "delete" file method??

(1/1)

Sometimes I would just like to delete teh current file, and it's always been a PITA to do so with the X5.

Surely Rockbox has a "wildcard" command that can be assigned to a button - that can be scripted to "delete current file, yes/no"?

You're aware that you can do this with the context menu?

No it has not.

"To access the Context Menu, position the selector over a file or directory and access the context menu with Long Select."

Hmmm, I did RTFM, but I guess I never connected the occasional need to delete a file with this feature...  Thanks.

Still a "wildcard" button would be nice...  :)

... which has two problems: first, it requires a currently unused button. Most targets are short on buttons anyway, so this is a major issue. Second, this is some kind of customizable buttons which a lot people do object against.
