Rockbox, I-pod Nano 2nd Gen, & Sony TDM-iP10 compatibility
(1/1)
Santa:
Hi,
I love running Rockbox on my 2nd Gen i-Pod nano so that I can listen to FLAC files.
I see that Sony has a a TDM-P10 dock interface that hooks up to their receivers so that you can play the audio through your receiver and use the remote control for i-Pod functions.
Does anyone know if this or any other dock system is compatible with Rockbox as far as letting a receiver remote control skip, playback, etc.?
Thanks,
Santa

I don't think theres support for the apple accessory protocol on the 2G.

If dock pinouts are same for all iPods (and I believe they're) then I think it wouldn't take a lot effort to port it to all supported iPods

The dock pin out doesn't matter unless you're going to build your own accessory. The problem is writing a driver for the IAP.
