Rockbox 3.5 and bluetooth adaptor problem (Ipod)

Okay, so patch 3.4 and 3.6 (SVN?) with IAP Logging. Will do.

Probably going to have the time to test this tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. Will edit with results.

EDIT: SO after I replied, I totally remembered that the laptop the build environment is on, has a dreaded 'Fan error'. So the build might take a little longer than planned. Need to buy and replace the damned fan....Freakin' IBM....

Hey all,

Took a little longer to get my system up and running again and install the Rockbox dev environment.

Patching the IAP Logging (9951) to r24500 (last build of 3.4, before 3.5) and current r28099 (SVN as of now).

Will edit with results.

EDIT 1: Right, so I finally got the IAP Logging patch ....patched. Anyway, here is the log for the SVN build(will also post to FS)

Line 280 (in "case 13") of iap.c:

Could you try to change
" if (serbuf[6] == 0x35) "
with
" if (serbuf[6] == 0x25) "
?

line 280 is for before patching, but if it's after, it's around the line 353.

Try before, since there is some chance to work ok; you will be able to keep your version

This is probably a n00b question, but in the VM supplied by Rockbox, how do I search by line? I just did "nano iap.c" and searched for "serbuf[6]" ad changed that variable. It was probably not the only one names "serbuf[6]" but it threw no errors as it was building.

Now I gotta charge the iPod, before I can test it :-)

EDIT: Success! Now to make a patch out of it! :-)
