Equalizer while recording h120

I have a question. Is it possible to have a EQ on while recording for example from digital input. I'm not talking about bass and treble. Is hardware allows for that? Is Motorola is doing anything while recording is stopped?

I assume as you talk about digital input that you are referring to the iriver H100?  And I further assume that by motorola you are referring to the CPU?

Sporrans? Is there a Scottish link or could that be "response"?

I'm guessing it should be treble, just from "bass and ..."  I have no idea where sporrans come into it :)
