Conditional for Point Mode / Grid Mode

Hi.

I've done my first touchscreen theme for Cowon's D2.
It's called AF_Black(http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?target=cowond2).

First I made this theme for the 3x3 grid mode then I got the feedback to make it compatible with point mode as well.

I did this but I ran in problems because in point mode I have to define all the interactive touchscreen areas.
For this I had to place much more icons in the WPS. And these icons are not necessary for the grid mode.

So my question is:
Is it possible to place an icon depending if I am in point mode? So (other way round) is it possible to hide this icon if I'm in grid mode?

there is a patch on the tracker to add the conditional. not sure why it hasnt been commited yet though

And now I see it in the tracker "Add touchscreen mode indication to status bar".
This would solve the problem. So I hope it will go to SVN as soon as possible.
