Hello Community,
I hope my English is good enough to make my problem understandable. I've got an I-Pod Video 30 GB and wanted to install Rockbox (Surprise!
) for playing .flac files. First I wanted to use the Rockbox Utilities, but something went wrong with the DL, so it doesn't start. So I choosed to install manually, I've read the manual and it didn't seem very complex. I did it, just like it is written in the manual I think.
But after I did it, I removed my Ipod and then nothing happened. I can hear the HDD boot, then there's a little "clack" sound, the apple logo disappears and it tries to boot again and again and again, I tried to boot the original Firmware with the hold button, but it doesn't help anything. Same thing happens, if I plug the Ipod to my computer. At the moment I have removed the cable from the battery to the HDD to stop the booting.
Is there any way to rescue my IPod? What was wrong?
Thanks in advance for answers
