Im just new here so i got many problems regarding my ipod

i already installed now the rockbox and i see it now in my ipod nano

but when i plug my ipod on the computer it cannot read it

example the name of the drive is removable disk

the used space is = 0
the free space is = 0

and when im creating new folder

inside the drive it always says unable to create the folder "new folder"
the system cannot find the file specified

also the rockbox and ipod folders also are missing

someone help me please

i already try to view hidden files but nothing happens

It sounds like the file system is corrupted.  You can try running a utility like chkdsk (Windows) or fsck.vfat  (Linux) to detect and repair errors in the file system.   It does sound like a badly damaged file system so it may be that restoring it in a Windows version of iTunes and reinstalling Rockbox might be the easiest thing to do at this point.  Restoring should write a new partition table and re-format the data partition as FAT32.

Personally I think the filesystem is not the issue here, before you rush to restore your iPod using iTunes it might pay to check out this one thing first...

What is the USB HID setting currently?
You can find this setting in Settings/General Settings/System/USB HID

If I remember correctly (from your last thread) you have an iPod Nano 2nd Gen, yes?
I can't speak for everyone, but I personally have exactly the same issue with my 2nd gen Nano (not surprising as the build is still classified as unstable) and turning USB HID off seems to fix this.

Set USB HID to "Off", then reboot the iPod and plug it in to your PC and see if your OS can detect the volume label and drive size correctly (and if your files are visible).
Afterwards try setting it back to "On" and see if this is indeed the issue preventing your iPod from being detected correctly.

You should also boot into Apple's Disk Mode and verify whether things work as expected there.  If this is the case then there's nothing wrong with the file system.  After a bit of poking around it sounds like FS#10713.
