Why hasn't my iPod install completed properly?

I downloaded everything I wanted and it was all successful but how do I get Rockbox to work on my ipod? When I turn on my ipod it's exactly the same...

Which ipod?  And how did you install?

FWIW, if you haven't looked at the install directions in the manual very carefully, that might help.

I did the Automatic complete installation, and ipod nano first generation. I also downloaded the Doom game.

And the log produced by the installer showed no errors ?

To figure such issues we added the system trace in About / Troubleshoot / System trace. Please post its output after the failed installation.

Furthermore, you still haven't told us important details. Like the operating system your computer is running.
