Increase long pressure time to fix "Accessory Power Protocol understading by RB"

Hi,
I'm succesfully using the Kensington LiquidAux Deluxe Ipod charger+aux+remote control with Accessory Power enabled.

All charging, audio and remote function works perfectly so thanks for your great work day after day. You can update the ipod accessories page if you want. I tested this device  with an Ipod Video 80GB. If you want I can give you more detailed version number.

Anyway, I have only one issue related to the buttons pressure time on the remote, that is not properly "human sized"... Let me explain better: the remote has 4 buttons: play/pause, prev, next, shuffle. I have to be very very very fast pressing these buttons, otherwise rockbox executes the action corresponding to a long pressure of the pressed key..

For example If I press the play button, rockbox receive it as a Long Play and this results in pausing the song and showing the file browser, instead of pausing only the song. The same is for the prev and next buttons on the remote: instead of changing between tracks, rockbox executes the fast back and fast forward related actions.

Is there some way of extend the long pressure time of keys, or this is a hardware related issue??

Which version of rockbox are you running?

Have you tried running the official test build? http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=23666.0

Anyway, i can tell it's not hardware related
