[Sansa e200 V1] No booting with almost flat battery
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:27:15 AM »
Hello,

I've observed the following "problem":

* When the battery is almost flat, lets say 12...10 % and you turn the player of, you will get the following message: "Warning! Low Battery. Shutting down" Even if the player would play still for about  2 and more hours. So this is not really a bug, but a little confusing.
* The reboot is possible above the the threshold of 10 % (3,68 V).
* When the battery is more flat than 10 % the reboot is not possible and a message from the bootloader (?) comes: "Battery too low. System shutdown". This is annoying because there is some capacity left for abt. 2 hours which I could use when I had not trigger the player off at low battery.

So my question is, is it possible to set down the threshold of critical battery level when booting?
Observed on Sansa e250 V1 hardware.

Regards, Mark
