Show SD-Card access in WPS?
« on: January 08, 2010, 12:57:08 PM »
Hello,

I am customizing my WPS and got the question if there exists an (undocumented) tag for SD-card access as it does for the internal flash-ROM, which I display with a little red flash symbol.

Regards, Mark

There are no undocumented tags (well on purporse anyway).

Doesn't the disk access tag work for both? or do you want a way to be able to know which of the "disks" is being accessed?

Hello,

yes the tag works for both, internal flash and SD-card acces, but I would prefer (if this is possible) to distinguish between both memories.
Here my WPS attached, with some nice (in my opinion) features:
* the red flash depicts storage acces, here I would like add a differentiation: flash symbol for internal memory, card symbol for SD-Card
* the grey flash depicts that the charger is connected, it turns into yellow if the battery is charging

It doesnt look like this is possible at the moment. There is currently no way to know which disk is being accessed.

OK thank you!
That's no problem, I can live with it so far.
