Rockbox dropping out on 5.5G iPod...

I installed Rockbox last night using the current stable build. Everytime I connect my iPod to my computer Rockbox drops out and the standard iPod interface comes up. The only way I have found to fix the problem is to reinstall the bootloader. What is happening and how can I prevent it?

Are you connecting USB while the iPod is turned on running Rockbox, or turned off? If it's off, is the hold switch on? When the iPod is powered on while the hold switch is engaged, our bootloader boots the original firmware for you. Hold MENU+SELECT for some seconds to reboot the iPod, at which point it will boot Rockbox if the hold switch is off.
