Charging on sumulator?
« on: December 31, 2009, 10:00:24 AM »
Is there any way to set the simulator into battery charging mode?  The purpose would be to test wps behavior/appearance when the battery is charging.  I looked through the documentation and searched the site, but did not find anything.

I don't believe there is currently a way to trigger a battery charging mode for the sim, but I do have to agree it would be a nice feature to have, especially for those of us that occasionally like to animate our charging status images...

Perhaps you might start a thread in the Feature Ideas section of the forum and see how much interest there might be in such a feature, and if anyone might be willing to do the work to make it happen.

One obvious way to test the appearance is to remove momentarily the conditionals and display the charging case. The same happens to the hard disk access and hold mode.

You can just press H while using the SIM to toggle Hold On/Off, just in case you didn't know.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
