My E-260 stopped working does Rockbox need it?
« on: December 23, 2009, 08:06:07 PM »
Hi All,

My E-260 went belly up after a couple years of heavy use. It starts up fine but the audio went out. It was loud static then a high pitch squeal then nothing. I tried other headphones same thing. I confirmed the headphones worked on another device.

I went out and bought a Fuze today and loaded Rockbox on it. Looks good! I'm charging it now.

So I have this 4GB E-260 with an almost new battery that I bought a couple months ago because the original battery died. There's no audio output. Can the Rockbox team use it for anything? If so, let me know what address to send it to and I'll drop it in the mail.

Cheers.
