cf modification on h120

hi,

i want to modify my h120 with a cf card - i bought all the necessary parts, but i cant figure out where to get this boot loader 7 pre version, is it still necessary to do that, or does the current boot loader work with the cf card?

The bootloader 7 pre is an upgrade that is done AFTER you install bootloader 6. Read ALL the instructions CAREFULLY.

Some report success with bootloader 6, others claim CF mod only works with bootloader 7 pre 4. I've never tried it so I can't tell. See www.misticriver.net forum for more details.

thanks! i've been on that page before, but somehow i managed to overlook the link for downloading the 7 pre 4 bootloader...
i will report after i modify my player - really hope it works!

by the way: any recent suggestions for a cf card that will work for sure??

I am now running a 16gb flash card on my iriver h120 - feel really great!!
I followed all the instructions on the cf wiki and had no problems during the procedure.

Sandisk extremeIII 16GB 30mb/s - 200x - 56€

of course notable slower in transfer, but still fast enough...
