Edit: from a quick look at my not-yet-finished schedule I'd prefer the 28th, and I'm nearby the Alexanderplatz most of the time (at 26c3).

I definitely want to join too and am in or near Berlin during these days. I think I can convince amiconn to come along too (I also feel a bit responsible because I kept on nagging gevaerts when this was still a vague idea).

From what I know about the others who spoke up so far, somewhere near or on Alexanderplatz would make a good meeting place - correct me if I'm wrong - for me it is at least.

Does someone have a suggestion for a good location to have some drinks?

I've been in a pub last year that was quite nice -- I think it was the Brauhaus Mitte. I could be completely wrong though -- haven't memorized the name, and was just searching for it on Google Maps. But it's nearby Alexanderplatz

I'm new to rockbox... but I should be bringing a new Sansa AMS player with a working JTAG connection!

My phone number is in the DevCon phone number thread. I'll make sure to check here and on irc as soon as I get to my hotel on saturday (which shouldn't be much after 18:00)

I'll arrive at Berlin on the 26th, around 8.30pm (if trains are on schedule). Have to check in to my hotel and get the 26c3 ticket first (though that would be on the way to the location so shouldn't be much of a delay), so I guess I could show up around 9.30pm.

26th at 8pm (or later)  would suit me well. Location is fine with me.

I will also be in Berlin on the 27th, but I am leaving early on the 28th so don`t want to stay up too late.

OK, the final decision is:
Saturday 26th, 8pm, at Brauhaus Mitte. We'll stay there for a while, so latecomers are still welcome :)

Whoops... I was too slow :-)  My flight arrives at 8 am Sunday morning (27th)... I'll be at 26C3 for most of the time - I've got a shiny red backpack :-)  ... or reply in the thread if anyone else wants to do a second meetup.
