Error message when running mkamsboot.exe (Sansa Clip rockbox)

gus:
Hi there
i have a V01 Sansa Clip and i'm trying to install the current build of Rockbox.
I did everything that's indicated in the manual (the .rockbox directory in my Clip's root, the rbinstall directory on my desktop with the firmware, the bootloader and mkamsboot in it).
But when i try to run mkamsboot through CMD (writing DIR then "mkamsboot.exe") i get this message: "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction (...) Choose close to terminate the application"
I have Windows Vista and i downloaded the Win32 mkamsboot app of course.
Before that i also had a few times an "Invalid Win32 application" error message as well.

According to google that message usually means your windows install is screwed up.  Might want to investigate that.

gus:
Lol it's a 6 months old computer but thanks anyway ;D
I'll try at work then :)
Other than that i made no mistake?

Well I have no idea what you've done since you didn't post the cmd log, but assuming you followed the directions it should be fine.

bluebrother:
You could also have a corrupted download.
