Rockbox automount issues on Ubuntu

Hello,
i've just installed Ubuntu and now im having the following problems:
When i connect the player to my computer, rockbox freezes and nothing else
happens. theres no sdx entry in /dev, original e280 firmware works fine(except for SDHC),
rockbox works on windows and on a different old computer with suse 10.1 automount works
just fine.
I hope some of you know what to do

Can you give us a dump of the last few entries when you run "dmesg" right after you plugin your player?
