"go to next track" will not work

During playback in the WSP screen, my "right button" to "go to next track" will not work on ipod video 30g. I have read the manual and did a few searches but still can't find what I need.

Strange.  Does it work properly on other screens (e.g. in the file browser)?

Since you don't say if you can skip at all (are you able to skip backwards with "left"?), maybe you have accidentally enabled "party mode". In this mode the player won't react to button presses if I remember correctly. Other settings to check for would be the track skip settings (maybe attach your config.cfg).  Also, does the button work properly in the original firmware?
