Help with mpegplayer?

Okay before everyone links me to the PluginMpegPlayer page, Know that I have completely looked that page over, and I am still stumped. I've been reading posts about this matter, and I know how it works, it's just that I can't get the video to the right resolution.  The video has to be resized to be able to be played on a first generation nano. (176 X 128) Apparently WinFF is good for this? It's just that I can't get WinFF to work on my System (Windows XP) I download it, and try to run it and nothing happens. Any help?

What do you mean by nothing happens? You should see the WinFF interface window appear, then be able to select Convert to "Rockbox" and in the adjacent selection choose "RB Apple Nano 4:3". The Add a file to be proccessed, and finally click Convert.
