Rockbox utility and the latest build - mismatched

I use the RB Utility to easily install and update all of my compatible DAPs. I noticed, though, that v23690 is what shows up on the bootscreen of all of them after I have updated. The current build shows to be 23903.

Is it necessary to install an updated RB utility to get the latest build through the RB Utility?

Check the System->Rockbox Info screen to make sure your upgrades are actually working (that shows the build number too).

If they're not, then something odd is going on with RBUtil when you're using it.

The one RB device I didn't update manually to 23903 was my Toshiba F. I installed RB Util on my Vista laptop and used it to update the F. I noted the RB version, 23540, prior to update and then after update, 23879.

Looks like Zagor has fixed this now (it was a server side issue, so you don't need a new version of rbutil.)

Thanks you. It is indeed fixed. My Fuze updated successfully from 23903 to 23909.
