Sansa e200r recovery (was "Driving me crazy!!!!!)

I just installed rockbox on my sansa vanilla 280r following the instructions. yet when finished the device started booting up on sansa and then froze. I can't seem to get back into the root directory. I have also tried the recovery and all it does is flashes on the root directory then goes to a different directory with a text that reads.

I cannot find a way to get back to the root directory, nor can I get the recovery program to work. The device worked fine before installing rockbox. Where or what did I screw-up and can I fix it?

You can try following the instructions on the SansaE200Unbrick but they are not specifically written for the e200r models.  If you follow them, they should allow you to get your dap working again, but with the vanilla e200 firmware.

It is possible to recover to the e200r firmware, but it is a much more involved process.
