What Does remote_control.rock do?

I have RB 3.4 installed on an 80GB 5.5gen iPod. While browsing through the plugin apps, I found something called remote_control.rock but I haven't been able to figure out what, if anything, it does nor locate any documentation on it. Can somebody clue me in?
