Doom wads/Doom 3

Hey i really enjoy the doom plugin on my ipod and i love the wads, but sometimes they need patche or something thats in the folder, such as another wad but as far as i know, you can only use one wad file for an addon. Am i just stupid? is there a way to use more than one wad?

Also, is there a doom 3 addon wad or game wad my player will support? i have an ipod video 30gig

okay and i actually meant, can you use two addons at once? sorry im not good at wording things! Im asking that because in a couple of the addon wads i got they really looked fun but unfortunatley didnt work because the patches were other wads you had to play with the other one, meant for use on a computer, not an ipod.  is there a way to play two addon wads at once?

So only doom (1) is supported?
Are doom 64 or doom II supported?
 And if they are not, will they be?

Also I think the base WADs, like freedoom, doom, doom2, ect are just the games, and the add-on WADs are the custom maps that replace the existing maps, sprites/graphics, music ect. of that game. And I think you can select the game, then select the add-on you wan't to play (optional) and then start the game. I have never tried this but I think that is how it works. Please tell me if I am wrong, because I have the same questions he does.
