Sansa e280 V2 newbie questions....

You CAN charge the player in Rockbox:
With the player already ON,
hold down the middle (select) button while plugging in the charge cable.

Thanks for the clarification on the charging, I hadn't tried it because when I looked at the progress chart I thought that charging didn't work full yet. I just took another look at it & it looks like the only thing left to get working is USB.

If the usb is not working, how do you add new songs to the player?

dual-boot the OF.

Inserting the USB cable will reboot the Sansa immediately to the OF where you can transfer songs, and then you have to reboot to rockbox
