AJBR20: Failing Parts
« on: November 24, 2009, 06:28:22 AM »
My dear old archos is beginning to suffer from loose soldering joints. Since I'm opening it up, I might as well give it a full maintenance. The headphone jack contact is all broken and gives crackling sound like hell. The powerplug is a bit loose to. So I want to replace these two while I'm at it.

I think these are basic electrical components you can order worldwide. Does anybody has any partnumbers for these? Anyone has done this before? Any other usefull info welcome.

Thanks in advance

Shortly before my AJBR20(upgraded to 100GB) died, I replaced the power jack with this part. Good luck!
