e200v2 Charging while playing

How do I get rockbox to play while being charged? As soon as I plug the usb in the rockbox reverts to the sansa firmware.

Hold down the centre button while you connect the usb cable.

Thanks for the input but holding the center button down works fine with the v1 e200 but with the v2 it has no effect. The unit still reverts back to the Sansa firmware.  I have both a v1 & v2 so I have observed this.

I also have both an e200v1 and e200v2.  The center button does work for entering charging mode on the e200v2, but only if the e200v2 is already powered on and booted into Rockbox.  If you attempt this with the e200v2 turned off, it will boot into the OF.

Would it be possible to check whether there actually is an "intelligent" device attached via USB? Rockbox also switches to Sansa OF when I put the USB cable into an  USB-AC adapter ...

Probably not without a working USB driver.
