Sansa Fuze bricked/broken? (NEED HELP)

ok so I've had rockbox on my fuze for about 2 months now and have been loving it but one day after P.E. it won't turn on sometimes, and when it does all i get is the scroll wheel turns on and my screen turns on only showing white, PLEASE HELP D:

I've had about 50 broken fuzes come across my workbench, and my guess is that the lcd is cracked right at the bottom of the screen.

Or the cable is loose, but it's far more likely that the lcd is broken. The fuze lcd is VERY fragile.

If it's just the cable, try pinching the case on the left-hand side right under the lcd while turning it on. May or may not make it come on with the display working. The only way to be sure would be to open it up and reseat the cable, but these things are not easy to open or work on. I'm pretty careful and i still managed to destroy the first one i opened up.

Thanks I will try that ASAP  :D

EDIT: i already have popped it open to look for a problem, but forgot to check the lcd connector i will check it when i get some spare time :)
