Weird Audio Issue

I have a Sandisk Sansa e260 that has been running Rockbox for some time now and was recently on 3.3 (until I updated to 3.4 15 min ago to see if it would fix the issue I now have.  I can hear noise from the headphones - standard system noise and file copying and such, but no sound when playing files that were playing fine the other week.  The files on the e260 play thru WMP on my Win 7 PC, just not under Rockbox.  They also play with the really bad Sansa firmware.

Now, I've checked volume levels (0dB) and have even reset the settings to default, but no bananas.  As I said, the Sandisk firmware plays the files fine, but Rockbox 3.4 (now, as I updated it) won't play any audio.  (And yes, the headphones work as I can hear the noise in Rockbox and the files playing correctly under the poor Sansa firmware.)

Weird. Any ideas?

Did the issue start before you updated Rockbox? It sounds like you're saying it did.

If so the important question is - what did you change around the time the problem started?
