Is there an upper limit of SDHC either v1 or v2 models will accept under Rockbox? I know 4GB and 8GB will work, what about 16GB?

32Gb as far as I know, 16Gb definitely works.
I would also recommend sandisk ones as they also make the player, although other makes may also work.

Thanks, figured they would. $44 for 16GB turns a 3 year old player into a full media source.

I fell on my original E260 and cracked the screen and was able to pick up a replacement e270v1, you ready for this, $15. 6GB internal, 16GB SDHC for a total of $60 for a 24GB player when rockboxed outperforms most new players costing 2-3x as much, rocking!

If I grab a 16GB then I'll take the 8GB'er out of my e270 and put in a E260v2 I also picked up, load up a bunch of kids videos and with Rockbox my daughter will have a good 6 hrs of video to watch during our upcoming flights.

For those wondering yes rockbox loads and runs just fine on a e260v2 in my testing.
