Newbe. You cant manage playlist from computer?

I take it that you can't really manage your files from a computer with something like winamp? Or am i just missing it somewhere? I have read about ways to make playlists but I like to be able to create playlists on the computer and then transfer that info onto my ipod. Is there a way to do that or is it all done on the ipod it's self?


I'm sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn't find anything in my searches.

All rockbox playlists are standard m3u files.  You can edit or create them in any software that understands m3u (Winamp, iTunes, etc) and then copy the playlist file over with your music.

Cool. So as long as the music files are the same on both the computer and ipod it will work?

Where do I put the m3u files in the ipod. Is there a playlist directory of folder?
