New York DevConPub
« on: November 12, 2009, 02:22:01 PM »
I'll be in New York after Christmas so the plan is to have some drinkies sometime (or the whole time) between dec 30th and jan 3rd...

any interest?

Prizes for anyone that makes it to all 3!

Also, yes, dont confuse Stockholm London and New York... stockholm is cold and dark, London is cold wet and miserable (and full of poms), and New York is cold and smelly and full of hobos. :D

I'm in. Although due to my advancing years won't be up for 4 days of continual drinking!

Seeing as how no one's really shouted out about where to go, I will make a couple of suggestions. Let me know which you'd like:

Puck Fair (the tried and true)
Rattle 'N Hum (Further up near midtown)
Fiddlesticks (Irish bar/pub with wicked good Shepard's Pie)
Anywhere evilnick suggests :)

How about for either the 29th or 30th of December?

Check the Devcon thread for my US number.

There's a nice bar called Franklin Park, which is just off the Franklin Ave stop. So you'd get the D to Pacific Street then transfer to any of the 2,3,4,5 to Franklin Ave. Should be about 20 mins.

And I also reckon we should make it 9pm to be on the safe side.
