if i now start the ipod, i just get the following message : "Use iTunes to restore".

why the bootloader isn't working? - did i forgot anything?

thanks in advance!

cheers!

saratoga:
You can't use ipodloader on a ipod nano 2g.  Ipod linux doesn't even run on that model.

bobi:
ah, okay.

i noticed that ipod linux isn't working on the nano 2g, but i thought the bootloader would work with all products..

thanks for your answer!!

saratoga:
No you definitely cannot run code written for one MP3 player on another with different hardware.  Drivers have to be written for hardware and code compiled for a given CPU.

bobi:
yes, of course, but this is in the wiki:

--- Code: ---Runs on: All iPods
Requires: an iPod
--- End code ---

so i thought "hah, okay, they also made a version for my ipod - lets try".

thank you again for your answer!

cheers.
