Archos Recorder 20 error message on charge

When my Archos Recorder 20 is off and I plug the charger in I get the message:
I04:IllInstr
at 00000404

I can only get rid of this by unplugging and turning off.

If I turn on and then plug in, all seems okay.

I'm running 3.4 and have flashed it.
