Error Log?

I was wondering if there is an error log which lets you know which songs failed to play in your playlist?

Right now I listen to all my music on shuffle, the list is close to 2000 songs, and sometimes I want to erase a song so I will delete it off the ipod and resave the list with the song removed.
I think that resaving the list has a small chance of making some songs not work properly because some songs will no longer play in newer saved lists (I delete and save fairly often). 

When one of these songs which has messed up is played on the playlist, the song is displayed for a split second and it goes to the next song on the list.  When I look at the current playlist the song which messed up will have a (ERR) in front of it.  If I remove that ERR song and re-add it than everything works fine, so it is not the song(s).

So... is there any easy way to know which songs are not working in the playlist??

No, there is no log or anything like that saved, the track is just skipped.
