Sansa Fuze - What Version Do I Have?

I purchased a Sansa Fuze Refurb from Newegg in March, and they report that the item model number is SDMX14R-004GK-A57R, which corresponds to the V2 model which is incompatible with Rockbox currently.

The model number is not physically on the device, so I cannot confirm this.  Is there any way to tell what version of the Sansa Fuze I hold in my hands?

I saw a report that you can tell by the Firmware on the device, but I do not know what to look for in the firmware number. 

Or should I not bother and just wait?
