Song count?

Hello;

What is the quickest way to get a count of all songs in the database?  I've done a search for "count" within this forum and I see a few different possible methods, but none of them are quick, or maybe I missed something ....

I'm not sure about the database, but you could use the stats plugin to get a count of all music files.
