Rockbox as a USB based audio/video/human input device for Computers.

I don't know if anyone would want to do this but I think it would be neat to have a Rockbox device be used as a PC controller (I see that it already does some of that), a video adapter, and audio adapter, so that you can have the desktop be mirrored onto the player's screen, or have the screen extend onto the player. And then also have the audio adapter be used as a microphone and audio output. Would this be worth it to anyone else? Would the usb and the player's cpu be able to support that much?

Well the usb audio part wouldn't be difficult at all, just needs someone with the know-how to code it. And pretty much all targets (those that rockbox can control the usb hardware anyhow. ie: Those that the current HID code works on) should be able to handle it without a sweat.

Though I think using the player as a secondary monitor would be a major stretch, difficult to code, and probably surpass the processing power of many targets. It would certainly be a cool idea especially on newer targets with high resolution screens, but I just do not see it happening.
