I think I bricked mu fuze?!?![SOLVED]

Ok, so I had rockbox on it for like 2 weeks;
then today I was watching a movie on my xbox360
while my fuze was charging off the xbox360 (via usb hub)
it was in original fuze mode;
then I turned off the xbox and unplugged my mp3 player,
and now it won't turn on, or charge.
How do I know if it's bricked, or if the cable is dead;

P.s. cables cost $10, so I rather not buy one unless I know mines dead.

wow, I originally tried holding the power switch for like 10-35 seconds, but it looks as if 50-60 sec
dose the trick!!!

Yahoo my sansa works again!

(maybe this is a sign to stop hacking my firmware?).........NAW!
