Problems with screen & database on current build for Gigabeat X30

I installed the current build last night & since then I've had a few problems with my Toshiba Gigabeat X30.

When I turn on the machine & go to the database I get a message saying the database not ready initialize now. The database searches & finds 7677 items but then does nothing, it just hangs at a message saying Building Database...  7677 found (LEFT to return). When I turn it back on i get a message saying Committing Database 1/9 which goes after a few seconds & if i then go to the database i get the databse not ready initialize now message!!!!

I can play music by going in to the file structure & finding what I need from the actual file but if I turn the volume up or down the screen goes blank apart from the section showing the decibel level. I'm also not getting the album details ie track name, album name or artist.

I'm hoping someone can give me some help in how to resolve this.

After reinstalling Rockbox a couple times I've managed to get the database built but still have issues with the display.....The mp3 info now displays but when i increase or decrease the volume I loose all info on the screen apart from the decibel level?!?

Any clues?!
