Install requires a firmware file

(1/1)

daithio:
The Rockbox Utility U/I has the Quick Start options disabled and when I try "Installation -> Install the bootloader" I get the following error msg:
"Bootloader installation requires you to provide a firmware file of the original firmware (bin file). You need to download ....."
I did a Fuze firmware upgrade before trying to install Rockbox so I guess I have to rollback but no idea where to find this file or how to rollback.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

I think the Rockbox application should be more informative about it...

Thanks for reply.
The OF bullet seems to have no link:
•An original firmware (OF) from .....(?)

Or am I reading this wrong?

Yes I don't think its in the manual, but you can get a firmware update from sandisk's website or the fuze link on the front page.

That works. Thanks all.
