Sansa Fuze: cannot patch OF 1.02.28 w/ RB bootloader
(1/1)

Hello everyone!
1. let me thank all you Devs for the Rockbox. Splendid work, indeed!
2. seeing that sansa Fuze is now released, I dare to post my question here... Hope I'm not violating any rules :-)
Upon trouble-free installing RB on sansa e250 v2, I decided to do the same on one of my sansa Fuzes (v1).
I recently updated Fuze's OF from 1.02.26 to 1.02.28, the latter being, in my experience, a bit more stable (a lot, actually).
The catch is, I tried to patch ".28" OF with RB bootloader, but both rbinstall and mkamsboot exited complaining about unknown firmware, suggesting firmware for c200 (!?).
I am aware that the procedure calls for the ".26" version, so I half-expected this to happen, but wanted to try anyway.
I wonder, is there a workaround?
Will there be an update to the patching procedure any time soon, or should I revert to the "ugly" .26 OF version?
Thank you for your help.

The Fuze OF v01.02.28 is not supported in the released versions of rbutil or mkamsboot. If you wish to use this OF version, you will need to build mkamsboot from svn.
