Sansa Fuze - battery life

Hi! I know fuze port isn't supported, but i've only one question. On rockbox, battery life is only 5 hours. On default soft is 25 hours. Why on rockbox is it so short?

Edit:
On default soft is 10 hours. My fault ;)

saratoga:
Thats a matter of debate.  Probably due to various things not being clocked as efficiently as they could be.

Also, if you get 5 hours in Rockbox, you'll probably get 7-8 in the original firmware and have a nearly dead battery.

On another Fuze, is the same problem.

In Sandisk website, he said
"Up to 24 hours for audio playback and 5 hours of video playback with internal rechargeable battery**"

but in rockbox only 5 hours?!
I think different format's music will affect the battery life, which format did you use?

very sorry for my poor english :-[

Avalon:
Hi, I have a Fuze and have been using the RockBox music functions for several months now.  Thanks to the RockBox team for a great product....far better than the stock OS.

Is anyone working on moving the Fuze port to supported status and adding the remaining functions?

I believe that optimization is one of the items which would help the battery life.
