Remebering pitch and speed settings
« on: December 02, 2009, 12:58:36 PM »
Is there any way for rockbox to keep the pitch and speed settings? They are reset to 100% whenever the player is power cycled. At least a menu option to auto reset or retain previous session's settings. I am using my player for audio books and would like to retain these settings, especially since I am using it in the car.

There is no way currently to retain those settings. As far as I know they're tied directly to the WPS code somehow and are not stored as settings in the configuration file.

they arnt really tied to the WPS code, but its a nodo feature to make them persistant (I dont agree with that though).. there might be a patch on the tracker to fix that if you are adventurous.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

umm sounds like this would be good for the christmas break, but if someone else wants to do it, you are more than welcome to do so  ;)
