Overdrive Audiobooks on Rockbox

My public library uses overdrive for eAudiobooks.  There come in either mp3 or wma.  Obviously, the wma books won't work in rockbox (because it's drm encrypted), but I am not aware of any real drm encryption for mp3.  So, I used the overdrive application to copy an mp3 audiobook to my Sansa e260 v1, and it copied happily (I tried a wma file, but it complained saying that my dap doesn't support wma, as expected).  So, I booted up to rockbox, and couldn't find the files anywhere, not even in the database.  I booted into the OF, and found it there, and it played fine.  So, do any of you have any idea on how I can play these audiobooks on rockbox?  (Again, I don't think they are drm encrypted, but I may be wrong, if so, I thought MP3 files couldn't easily have drm).

You should always be able to see a transferred file, regardless of whether or not Rockbox can play it, provided you set Show Files to "All".  For the database, did you make sure that it updated after adding the file?  Did you transfer the file using MSC mode?

I transfered it via the default software on overdrive, and I had it set to MSC before connecting.  Also, I had it set to show all files.

And I can't find anything on the device that would denote it transfering.  Could it have changed it to a different file type somehow, but then how can the OF read it?

Edit:  Okay, this really should let me just post again.  Oh well, I do see some benefits in terms of spam reduction, but it's still annoying.

Anyway, never mind, I figured it out.  The wonderfully advanced piece of software called overdrive...only seams to have one transfer function, transfer your files to the root of the device, which I have filled with quite a bit of cruft, thus I didn't see it.  Although, I wonder why it didn't appear in the database...  Oh, I didn't even see a feature within the software to delete any files that you had added to the device, very lame.

You could use a file manager while your player is connected via USB to move the files into a proper file tree if you like.
