Rockbox skips certain Ogg Vorbis files

Of course!  How silly of me!

Sorry! I had totally forgotten about that...  It has been years since I did a oggenc by hand...

I don't see any vorbiscomment settings on Grip, only ID3.  It must automatically add the vorbiscomments to oggfiles, I guess there is nothing to really configure there...

Thanks!

Hello, problems with Ogg Vorbis files relate with the pictures inside the file. Big pictures in files is problems to play this files. Sorry for English.

Big pictures in Vorbis files are also not recommended by the standard.  Large cover art may or may not decode depending on exactly how its inserted, how large it is, and how much RAM is available on the player IIRC.

Thank you. Just guessed on the example. May be useful for someone =)

There's no reason to put album art directly into files anyway. A single 'folder.jpg' or 'cover.jpg' is all you need inside each album folder. Hell 'album.jpg', %albumtitle%.jpg or other combinations work with any modern player, and that includes rockbox. Embedding art in files is wasted space and completely unnecessary. Plus winamp and foobar2000 both can be set to copy over your 'folder.jpg' files while transcoding or synching which is really awesome.
