E200 V2 too unstable to use?

(1/1)

Pizza4ever:
Wow please excuse the horrible grammer in the title.  and the fact that this is my first post because I have been viewing this site for quite a while now.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I have a question:  Is the E200 V2 rockbox firmware too unstable to use?  I've been trying to keep up with the thread but I'm kinda lost now.  Thanks alot!

yapper:
The 'official' description of the current state from the front page of www.rockbox.org is:

--- Quote ---Unstable ports
Rockbox runs on these players, but is incomplete, less usable or has problems that limit it to advanced users:

•Cowon: D2
•Olympus: M:Robe 500
•Samsung: YH-920 and YH-925
•SanDisk: Sansa e200 v2 (AMS) and Sansa Fuze V1
--- End quote ---

Chronon:
I moved this topic because it is not a question about Rockbox Utility.

http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaAMS has more information about the status of the AMS Sansa ports.

Pizza4ever:
oh dang how'd I miss that... Thanks so much

funman:
These days the unstability should have greatly decreased.

However we are still testing if the e200v2 should be moved to "stable" category, so if you're not confident you should just check rockbox.org regularly to see if it moved
