Proper 10+ discs audio book/album sorting
(1/1)
Oehr:
I tag every album and audio book i have with "disc number"(which cd the track is on) and "total discs"(overall disc count for the album/audio book).
Though, I have various audio books that consist of more than 10 discs, resulting in following sorting(if its a 11 disc audio book):
1.01. Track 1
1.02. Track 2
1.03. Track 3
10.01. Track 1
10.02. Track 2
10.03. Track 3
11.01. Track 1
11.02. Track 2
11.03. Track 3
2.01. Track 1
2.02. Track 2
2.03. Track 3
3.01. Track 1
3.02. Track 2
3.03. Track 3
...
9.01. Track 1
9.02. Track 2
9.03. Track 3
i properly use 2 digits for disc number, but it appears that rockbox ignores 0 as the first digit. is there a simple switch(i couldnt find) to fix this or do i have to compile rockbox to get proper sorting of discs?
AlexP:
Database or file browser?
For the file browser try the "Interpret numbers when sorting" option.
Oehr:
its a database only issue. in file browser, the tracks are named and sorted correctly:
01-01 - Track 1.mp3
01-02 - Track 2.mp3
01-03 - Track 3.mp3
02-01 - Track 1.mp3
02-02 - Track 2.mp3
02-03 - Track 3.mp3
03-01 - Track 1.mp3
03-02 - Track 2.mp3
03-03 - Track 3.mp3
...
09-01 - Track 1.mp3
09-02 - Track 2.mp3
09-03 - Track 3.mp3
10-01 - Track 1.mp3
10-02 - Track 2.mp3
10-03 - Track 3.mp3
11-01 - Track 1.mp3
11-02 - Track 2.mp3
11-03 - Track 3.mp3
